Thank You for the Last 25 Years – We Have Retired

It is hard to believe but after 25 years in the wedding & party DJ business, it has com time to say good-bye.  We have made the tough choice to close our business and retire.

We would like to thank everyone for their patronage and support throughout the years and for the understanding through the challenging times caused by COVID-19.

Newfoundland Weddings in 2021

We are close to entering another Wedding Season here in Newfoundland and with COVID restrictions still in place, many brides and grooms are searching for information about their wedding events. There are still COVID-19 restrictions in place for weddings here in Newfoundland and Labrador. These restrictions limit what a bride & groom can and cannot do during their special day.

Dancing is still not permitted for Weddings here in Newfoundland and Labrador. The exception to this is ceremonial dances (i.e. Bride & Groom First Dance) are permitted. Venues are still at limited capacity to ensure that you contact your venue with respect to how many guests are permitted to attend. Places of worship also have restrictions in place.

One of the questions that we are being asked about here at is “Will you ignore COVID guidelines and still play music for our party?”  Our answer is No.

While this might be disappointing for brides and grooms here in Newfoundland who have planned their wedding and booked our company as your wedding DJ, we hope that you understand that we are liable if an outbreak occurs as a result of our activity. Our insurance does not cover our operations in the event that we violate the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s COVID regulations. Your safety and the safety of your guests are our primary concern. The regulations have been established to protect everyone and the potential consequences of violating those regulations could endanger lives.

We will provide services for your ceremony, dinner music and ceremonial dances but unless COVID-19 regulations allow for dancing and partying, we hope you understand our decision.

If you have booked with our company for the 2021 wedding season here in Western Newfoundland, please reach out to us to discuss your options.

All Events through September 2020 Cancelled

The Newfoundland & Labrador Government has indicated that province will lower its COVID-19 level to Level 2 starting June 25, 2020.

What does this mean for us here at

At this level, there are restrictions to dance floors & things such as karaoke.  We have reached out to our local health experts and have been advised that this includes parties, weddings & other mass gatherings.

This means that here at we are not permitted to operate.  Based on the recommendations from health authorities, we are extending our cancellation of events until the end of September 2020.

If you are impacted by this announcement, we encourage you to reach out to us immediately.  We will work with you to reschedule your event to a future date where possible & based on our availability.

We apologize for the inconvenience that this might cause.

Bookings Cancelled – May through July 2020

After careful consideration and consultation with many medical experts, it is with great regret that we have to announce the cancellation of all wedding bookings for the months of May, June & July 2020.  The restrictions imposed by government as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic makes it almost impossible to operate our business in an effective and safe manner.  Current restrictions imposed on gatherings are not anticipated to be lifted until August 2020.  We have monitored the situation closely & have been in contact with health officials.

Your safety is our utmost concern during these unprecedented times and it is with the advice we have been given that we have opted for these drastic measures.

Many of the brides & grooms have already reached out to us for alternate booking dates in 2021.  We will make every effort to accommodate you next year where possible.  We cannot guarantee availability but we are more than willing to work with you during these times.

If you have a booking for May, June or July 2020 – we strongly encourage you to reach out to us to discuss your options if you have not already done so.  We have attempted to contact those who have not reached out to us just yet but have not received replies.

We will continue to monitor this situation closely in the coming weeks and should things change or should government allow celebrations/gatherings to resume, we will be more than pleased to accommodate you at that time.

For bookings beyond July 2020, right now everything is a go!  We are also still accepting bookings for 2021 but we are trying to accommodate those clients who had requested alternate dates.  Please feel free to reach out to us amid these crazy & strange times.  We will do our best to help you through this & plan your event in the coming months!

Take care & be safe everyone!

COVID-19 & Your Wedding Plans

It’s very trying times.  Many brides & grooms have reached out to us & asked if we were still planning to provide DJ services during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

First, the most important thing that you should consider is your own health and safety.  While self-isolation has been mandated for many of us, venues have been forced to close & groups have been limited to no more than 10 people at the moment (April 1, 2020).  We do not know what the future holds but we do know that according to our contacts, a lot of weddings and events through May 2020 have been canceled.  Venues are not permitted to operate.

We are monitoring the situation very closely and if we are allowed to operate during the time of your event, we will honour your bookings.  Given that many events we are booked for do not start until late April, there is a lot of uncertainty at this time.

Please, reach out to us if you do decide to cancel or postpone your event.  We cannot guarantee availability if you decide to postpone.  This situation is well beyond our control.

As always, there is no charge for cancellations.

Please monitor this page as your event approaches.  Updates will be provided here.

Remember, Wash Your Hands.  Stay Inside.  Be Safe.
