How Reliable is Your DJ?

Over the past few weeks, TheDJs.ca have received numerous calls asking if we had availability for dates that were anywhere from a few days to a few weeks away.  As professional DJs in Corner Brook and the Western Newfoundland and Labrador area, it is alarming to discover that the reason people are calling is because other DJs that were booked aren’t returning calls, answering emails or have decided to book elsewhere for more money.  What was even more shocking is 90% of those people calling looking for “emergency DJ services” had paid their other DJs a down payment.

It leaves us wondering how reliable is your DJ?

With several of the people calling just days before their events, TheDJs.ca did what any professional DJ company would do.  We phoned our trusted colleagues in the business, called in favours and did everything we could to accommodate those people in desperate need of a DJ for the weddings, parties and anniversaries.  It was what any professional would do.

Unfortunately, we could fill all but 3 of the 11 calls that we had received, but in going the extra mile, we did play a role in ensuring that at least eight parties had a DJ that was worth of calling themselves a professional.

Have you experienced any difficulties with the DJ that you have booked?  Drop us a note and let us know.

TheDJs.ca Rock Marble Mountain

With wedding season in full swing, one of the favourite wedding venues this season is Marble Mountain, Newfoundland. It offers both the wedding party and your professional DJ service the space and atmosphere to make it a great party.  As professional DJs, TheDJs.ca had another successful wedding as it rocked it out for Chantal & George on July 6.

The day started early as TheDJs.ca provide both sound reinforcement and music for the wedding ceremony.  While guests were waiting, the skills of the professional DJs entertained the waiting guests with a wide selection of easy listening tunes.  As the ceremony began, things went like clockwork as the bride walked to her waiting groom to Etta James – At Last.  George and Chantal’s vows rang loud for everyone to hear.

The party continued upstairs, with the guests being entertained by TheDJs.ca into the wee hours of the morning, playing a combination of pre-selected music and a mixture chosen from our own playlist.  One of the things that we pride ourselves on at TheDJs.ca is knowing how to read the crowd and keeping the floor hopping.  It’s the sign of professional DJs that will make your wedding event.

George and Chantal were more than please and sent the following to us after their wedding:

Thank you guys – everybody commented on what a great job you did.  Music was awesome – everyone had a fantastic time.  It was indeed a good party.  Thanks again!

Thank you George and Chantal for making us a part of your wedding day.  We were only to glad to be your professional DJs here in Western Newfoundland.
